TicketBAI and Verifactu
In the Basque Country invoices already go out with TicketBAI. In the rest of Spain the software has to be ready for Verifactu. We distribute a program that covers both rules, and it is the one used to invoice every day.
Remote, with no limit on province.
Both aim at the same thing: an issued invoice cannot be deleted or changed without leaving a trace. How that fits each business is decided when we set it up.
Basque Country · already in force
TicketBAI
The system of the foral tax authorities of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, with the Basque Government. Verifactu does not apply here: this is the obligation.
- Each invoice or receipt generates a signed file chained to the previous one.
- That file is sent to the foral tax authority. In Bizkaia it is part of Batuz.
- The invoice carries a QR code and the TBAI identifier, so the recipient can check it.
- The software has to be registered in the TicketBAI registry.
Common territory
Verifactu
The regulation on invoicing systems, Royal Decree 1007/2023. It binds the software you invoice with, not a separate form.
- Invoice records must be kept complete, readable, and without changes that leave no trace.
- In Verifactu mode, each record is sent to the tax agency on its own. The invoice carries the QR code and the words Veri*Factu.
- Companies: the system adapted before 1 January 2027.
- Self-employed people and other taxpayers: before 1 July 2027. Deadlines from Royal Decree-law 15/2025.
It is not a patch for inspection day. It is the program used to raise the invoice, the receipt and the rest of the admin. We distribute it and we leave it running.
